Three Hospitalized After Van Crashes Into Mount Sinai Home
No cause determined for accident that involved two vehicles and a house.
Two people were laying on their couch as the snow fell outside when a van suddenly rammed through the side of their Mount Sinai home at about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, police said.
An alarm system work van, driven by a 56-year old man from Rocky Point, had collided with a Toyota sedan and then crashed through the home located on the corner of Mount Sinai Coram Road and Route 25A, sending a total of three people to Stony Brook University Medical Center with minor injuries. According to the Mount Sinai Fire Department, the two residents of the home and the driver of the car were all hospitalized.
The cause of the accident was not determined and no tickets were given at the time of the crash.

That house has had more cars crash into it than I care to think about it. I hope no one was seriously hurt.
