Crime Report: Man Flees Police Officer

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

James Gramazio, 26, of Port Jefferson, was arrested in Gordon Heights on Feb. 19 at 6:10 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

John Jakob, 19, of Selden, was arrested on Kara Court in Port Jefferson Station on Feb. 19 at 9:59 p.m. and charged with fleeing a police officer. According to police, when a marked police car tried to pull Jakob over he allegedly sped away.

Ernst Reinke, 23, of Coram, was arrested on in Mount Sinai on Feb. 18 at 1:42 a.m. and charged with DWI. Police report that Reinke allegedly failed to maintain a lane while driving his 1997 Nissan west on Route 25A.

Jeffrey Schaufeld, 25, of Port Jefferson, was arrested in Mount Sinai on Feb. 18 at 1:37 a.m. and charged with DWAI.

John Martin, 45, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Selden on Feb. 14 and charged with DWI.

A 16-year old male from Mount Sinai was arrested on Feb. 14 at 12:45 a.m. and charged with assault. Police say that he allegedly hit another person in the mouth with a liquor bottle, knocking out two teeth. The injured person was taken to Mather Hospital.

Kwyn Traylor, 31, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested at his home in Port Jefferson Station on Feb. 14 at 11 p.m. and charged with petit larceny. Police say that Traylor allegedly took rims and tires off of a vehicle on Warren Ave. in Ronkonkoma.

Arthur Meyers, 65, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Feb. 13 at 3:50 p.m. and charged with menacing. Police say that Meyers went to a business located at 650 Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station and allegedly threatened an employee, appearing to show a weapon.
