St Charles management was never going to tell the employees that criminal activity is occurinng on the campus wghich puts the employees at risk for injury or worse. I find the lack of respect by management to its employees very disturbing. Anyone else feel this way mike staff RN

Mike - I find the lack of respect given to patients is very disturbing also! My husband was to have surgery at St. Charles, but the mix-up of another patients records in my husbands chart made him re-think his decision. When management was told of the situation it was "sorry, the other patients name was similiar to yours". Really? After having a nurse tell my husband he has hepatitis c, we get "Sorry!" and then management tells my husband they are highly organized! So he is having this surgery at another hospital in the area not connected to St. Charles or Mather.

I realize your post is about another problem, but I had to get this off my chest. I do hope management takes your post serious and does something to make your work environment safer.
