Port Jeff School to Split Principal Role With New Hires

Superintendent plans to hire one principal each for the middle school and high school.

Superintendent Ken Bossert told The Port Times Record that he will fill outgoing Middle School-High School Principal Roseann Cirnigliaro with two seperate positions, one for the and another for the .

"I don't see the middle school and the high school to be the same," Bossert said in an interview with the paper. He said that students are in "different learning environments."

In order to make sure the new position doesn't hit the budget, Bossert said that the school district will eliminate the assistant principal who also covers both schools, a position currently held by Peter Esposito.
