Flash Flood Watch, Testing Rally Planned

Good morning Port Jefferson. Here’s a look at what’s happening in the area on Tuesday.
- The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Suffolk County today, so beware. One to two inches are likely, and up to three inches is possible in the heaviest areas. Click here to check up on the NWS radar.
- A letter written by Comsewogue Superintendent Joe Rella last week about state testing - demanding his removal, or help from elected officials in helping reform the process - has gone viral from parents unhappy with the testing process. A 'Students, not Scores' rally is planned for this weekend to demand change to the testing system.
