“Our free fireworks show and celebration event is our small way of thanking and giving back to our members, our employees and the entire Long Island community that has supported us over the past 60 years. We welcome all Long Islanders to come and celebrate with us,” said Robert G. Allen, TFCU President/CEO.
A coordinated soundtrack will accompany the fireworks display. Hillside and lawn areas offer the best fireworks viewing. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets
and chairs. Limited seating will be available. Parking for the event is free and food vendors will be open.
Since its inception, TFCU has experienced exceptional growth. It has expanded from a handful of dedicated founders in 1952 to an extensive and vibrant credit union with over 227,000 members and more than 600 employees today, all residing on Long Island. In
addition to celebrating its 60th anniversary, the credit union has also opened a modern state-of-the-art headquarters at 102 Motor Parkway, in Hauppauge. The building, which includes TFCU’s 23rd branch, was purchased and designed to meet the expanding service needs of TFCU’s rapidly growing individual and business
member base.
