Blog: Port Jeff Black and Tan Needs a Name

There will also be free beer courtesy of social media and Port Jefferson Brewery.

Niko Krommydas reports on his beer blog, Super Neat Beer Adventure, Yes!! that the will be pouring at The Courtland during Long Island Craft Beer Week.

When you check-in at The Courtland on Foursquare during the weeklong event using your smartphone you'll be given a free pour of either Schooner Pale Ale or Port Jeff Porter, according to Krommydas.

The blog also reports that brewer and company owner Michael Philbrick said that during Long Island Craft Beer Week "you will be able to get Black and Tans at Kodiak’s on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m."

Apparantly, the Black and Tans are getting popular and Philbrick is looking for a name.

"I'm open to suggestions," he said.
