Blogger: 1957 Chevy Spotted in Port Jeff
The iconic car of the 1950's was photographed tooling around town last month by a local blogger and car enthusiast.
The classic '57 Chevy was spotted in downtown Port Jefferson last month by local blogger and car enthusiast Johnny B. The red Chevy was all shined up and sparkling as it turned the corner off East Broadway onto East Main, an American flag waving in the breeze off the antenae.
According to Johnny B there are very few cars that fit the category of "American icon" and the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is one of them. When you think of the time of Elvis, Ozzie and Harriet and the "Red Scare" you think of this automobile.
