NO PARKING along Main St (upper port...train station to North Country Rd) from 7am til 9pm ,,,,violators will be ticketed and towed....Says the signs stapled up and down the street Friday night at 7pm,,,,Since on street parking is the only parking uptown, it would have been nice if we had a little more notice (than less than 24 hours) to make alternative plans!...
Congrats to the Fire Department & all the brave volunteers!

Update: Code removed NO PARKING signs from the Southbound side of Main (upper port) and has now run caution tape Northbound from RR station to North Country...

Traffic was terrible. Fire department traffic control was a joke. No clear direction was given. They sent us down dead end streets with no where to go. Bottle necks on all residential streets. People were so ticked off. Next time I hope they are better prepared, maybe they will let the cops do it the right way. What a stinken joke. I'm just glad there wasn't a real fire. Nobody would have been saved with all of the road closings & lack of proper traffic direction.
