Each first Monday of every month a public village board meeting is held in the courtroom of the . The public is welcome to speak at these meetings.

On Tuesday, Physicist Brian Greene will give a talk at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics at Stony Brook University to kick-off the Della Pietra Lecture series.
