Why Go: On Friday Lulu's will host the 2nd Annual Heart Vet Aide Operation Homefront with five bands playing. See the Red River Ramblers, George Mann, Blind Robbery, Big Daddy and the Bulldogs and Stagger Lee. On 11/11/11 raise oney for Veterans. Saturday Lulu's will host the No Mercy Metal Showcase featuring Sanitarius, Circadian Scizm, Awaken, Fear the Dawn, Forrest Gump Mile High Marathon and Two Shells Left.

Why Go: Vine 2 Wine will be pouring two wines. First will be a 2007 Sant Elena pinot grigio that they say "flows from the glass with layers of intense, perfumed fruit." Next is an Anne Pichon Peripherique 2008, a blend of 55% syrah, 40% old grenache and 5% old carigan from "some of the best-exposed vineyards harvested at optimum times." All wines will be paired with cheese from .

Why Go: According to the Staller Center website this quartetet is a groundbreaking and Grammy award-winning group who are reconvening their original members for the Saturday night show. The music is a unique blend of genres but as the website puts it, the sound is "the music made only when these four individuals come together."

Why Go: Local resident Denice Givens and her band will be rocking the Portside Bar and Grill on Friday night. Head down to make your favorite musical request, sing and dance along.

Why Go: Enjoy shopping for your local produce and listening to music at the Port Jefferson Farmers Market sponsored by the Economic Development Council every Sunday.
