Why Go: Environmental workshops and vendors with participation from Port Jefferson Elementary, Middle and High School. This year’s theme for the annual Go Green Fair held at the Village Center will be “Water, Water Everywhere.”

Why Go: Vine 2 Wine will be pouring two wines for you to taste. The first is a  2008 Francois Pinon Vouvary with an intriguing bouquet of fresh apple, pear and flowers, with a subtle touch of exotic passion fruit. Next is a new endeavor by The People Wine Company to bring inexpensive, well made wine to the marketplace and to making a difference by donating a portion of the profits to social causes. They will be pouring a 2009 Zinfandel that the owner says "drinks better than most Zinfandel starting at $30 or more."
