Why Go: Join Response of Suffolk County for its annual Joe Dunlop Performance for Prevention. This year they are offering "Dinner and a Show" beginning at 5 pm at Fifth Season in Port Jefferson. Patrons will then make their way to the neighboring  for the opening night performance of .

Why Go: Based on the The Who's Rock Opera "Tommy" this is a musical filled with explosive rock-and-roll. Enjoy hit songs like "Pinball Wizard," "See Me, Feel Me," and "Acid Queen."

Why Go: A fundraiser for the Spinney Clock Collection and Clock Repair School will be a unique and informative day of clocks for sale, museum tour, demonstration of clock repair and more.

Why Go: This program is for children ages 9-12. Children will keep a log of their monthly exploration of West Meadow's plants and animals of varied habitats, salt marsh and assist with species monitoring programs. At the end of each completed season each child will earn an official Ranger patch.

Why Go: Enjoy breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound, live music, tapas, cocktails, wine and beer at Wave Lounge at Danfords.

Why Go: Saturday night join your friends or make news ones at the Village Way for Karaoke. Show starts at 10 p.m., but head out early to enjoy some dinner and drinks before it starts.

Why Go: Designers and builders have all the fun at the Maritime Explorium this weekend! Families use hands-on scientific discovery to understand what makes a successful construction. The permanent exhibit zone, featuring games, activities and crafts will also be open.

What: Enjoy shopping for local produce and listen to music as you browse local products from local farms and vendors including Condzella Farms, Stan Pat Farms, Biophilia Organic Farms, Bambino Ravioli, Berry Happy Farms and Invincible Summer Farms.
