Why Go: Six Port Jefferson restaurants will be offering prix fixe meals as part of WordHampton’s first annual spring restaurant week. Participating restaurants will present gourmet meals for $24.95 to customers. The price includes an appetizer, main course and dessert.

Why Go: This Saturday's concert is a benefit for the people of Japan. All net proceeds will go to the New York Japanese - American Lions Club. Featuring: An evening with Sunrise Skyline. Also Appearing are: We're All Just Passing Through and Katelyn Tomney.

Why Go: The winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. Set in 1964, Doubt is a clash of wills and generations that have unexpected, life-changing outcomes. A play about the line between gossip and truth. The play addresses issues of moral certainty and contains mature material. An actor-audience discussion will follow each performance.

Why Go: The Homegrown String Band is fun for the whole family, or maybe just an afternoon out with your friends. Join Rick Jackofsky and his family as they perform rural string music recorded from the 1920s and ‘30s along with American roots music that followed.

Why Go: Hosted by The Greater Port Jefferson/Northern Brookhaven Arts Council (GPJAC) Washington Square Winds, a young classical ensemble, will be performing.

Why Go: Local artist Frances Campani who's work has been exhibited internationally has her work on exhibit till April 26 at the Port Jefferson Village Center. Come view over 85 pastels, oils and drawings and attend a reception in honor of the artist.
