Local Stargazers Catch a Heavenly Sight

The crescent moon, Venus and Jupiter all align over the region.

Local stargazers got a glimpse of a beautiful show on Saturday and Sunday nights as the crescent moon, Jupiter and Venus all aligned in the sky to produce a heavenly display. According to Time online, the sky show is visible from all over the world. Venus is the bright object below the moon on Sunday, while Jupiter is closer to earth's lone natural satellite.
