Lucki, of Bell Terre, Meehan, of Port Jefferson, Wed on Saturday

Sonya Lucki, of Bell Terre, and William Meehan, of Port Jefferson, were married at the Belle Terre Gatehouse on Saturday, according to the groom's father, Thomas Meehan. 

The New York Times picked up the wedding announcement and wrote that the wedding was officiated by Grant T. Geelan, the marriage officer for the Village of Belle Terre.

The bride's parents are Ted and Lori Lucki, of Belle Terre. Ted Lucki is the mayor of Belle Terre and the owner of auto dealerships in Riverhead.

The groom's father, of  in Port Jefferson. His mother, Peggy, is a retired school teacher. Both of the groom's parents are Port Jefferson residents.
