Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Brannon Burke
Our selection for Whiz Kid of the week is Brannon Burke, who scored her 1000th point for her school basketball team.

Accomplishment: Brannon–who is a senior and the chaplain prefect at her school–scored her 1000th career point becoming only the fifth member of the 1,000 point club in Stony Brook’s Girls’ Basketball.

Key to Awesomeness: Athletic Director, Jeremy Donovan from The Stony Brook School said that leadership and athletic skill are qualities that help both her and the team achieve greatness.
"Her leadership and excellence on the court has been instrumental to the team’s success this year," Donovan said. "She reached the 1,000-point milestone in a win over Southold that clinched the seventh consecutive league championship for our girls."
