Every year, Santa Claus officially kicks off the holidays by taking a sleigh ride down the middle of Manhattan in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Not one to rest on his laurels, Santa then trucks out east to Port Jefferson for another parade in his honor, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
The parade was set to start at the LIRR station on Main Street at 1 p.m., heading down around East Main Street to West Broadway and finish at the Drowned Meadow Cottage on Barnum Avenue for photos inside Santa’s Workshop.
On Twitter, @chelseaadaavid was there and she snapped this Instagram photo showing a very cool Santa Claus.
