PHOTOS: Down Port Preps for Irene
As the storm approaches, businesses in Port Jeff board up.
Businesses in downtown Port Jefferson were boarding up and tapping windows to prepare for the coming storm. Hurricane Irene is expected to bring high winds and rain to the area starting tonight, even though the full force of the storm will not be here until Sunday.
Maria Palmar who owns the building of at 406 Main Street and associate broker there sent us pictures to add to the gallery of her business wrapped up tight for the hurricane.
