Every year the Port Jefferson fire department organizes the , coordinating all the participants including 15 fire departments from around the region, according to assistant chief Charlie Russo.

Once again on Monday fire department companies from , , Nesconset, Miller Place, , , and many more joined in the festivities to celebrate American independence.
