Port Jeff Weekend Guide: Ahoy! See Treasure Island at Theatre Three and More
A guide to what's happening over the weekend in and around Port Jefferson.
Landmarks and Historic Sites of Long Island
Where/When: Port Jefferson Free Library, Friday at 7 p.m.
What: Author/historian Ralph Brady will guide attendees through a journey into parts of Long Island’s past. It will take them back to a seventeenth century Dutch Fort built on a site and used by the Native American people nearly 6,000 years ago. Along the way there will be stops at mansions built by some of America’s most famous families, as well as simple homesteads where settlers struggled to survive in the New World.

Power Popaholic Fest 2012
Where/When: Lulu's Village Pub, Saturday at 8 p.m.
What: First annual power pop music festival. An awesome night of melodic rock and roll, starring The Heartless Devils, Lannie Flowers, Buddy Love, Jana Peri, Lane Steinberg, The Turnback and Jeff Litman.

Friday Night Face Off
Where/When: Theatre Three, Friday 10:30 p.m.
What: Friday Night Face Off (FNFO) is a short form, competitive, audience interactive improv comedy show. Usually held on Friday nights at Theatre Three. Come on down where beer, wine plus other refreshments are served. Please note recommended for audiences 16 and up due to adult content. Tickets are $12. Cash Only. No advance reservations.

Complimentary Wine Tasting and Cheese Pairing
Where/When: Vine 2 Wine, Saturday at 3 p.m., Sunday at 1 p.m.
What: Vine 2 Wine will host a complimentary wine tasting and cheese pairing event from 3 - 6 p.m.They will be tasting Wilson Daniels Central Coast Pinot Noir 2010 as well as Mauro Veglio Barolo Catalletto 2007. Tastings will be on Saturday and on Sunday.

Port Jefferson Farmers Market
Where/When: Parking lot in front of Lainie's Way, Sunday at 9 a.m.
What: The market has a full house of vendors this week according to manager Donna McKewon.

Mustang Car Show
Where/When: Port Jefferson Village Center, Sunday at 10 a.m.
What: 5th annual Mustang show hosted by the Mestang and Shelby Club of Long Island and Port Jefferson Harbor Education and Arts Conservancy.
