Ive been donating gifts, food and money for years. This year my husband lost his job and its been really hard for my family. My question is, where do ppl like me go to get help? Ive called Toys for Tots and some other organizations for help and nobody seems to be able to help. I dont get it. To be honest , Im quite disappointed. Its heartbreaking and embarassing to call these places basically begging for help and then to have them point me to the next place and that one cant help me either. Ive NEVER been in this position before and when we are once again financially stable, I will choose very carefully when it comes to donating.
