Shelter Animal of the Week: Christian the Three-Legged Cat
Christian has gone through quite an ordeal and is looking to live the quiet life as an indoor cat.
Christian came to in Port Jefferson Station with a badly broken back leg. He had to have the leg amputated but within hours this spunky kitty was already standing on his three remaining legs.
This brown tabby with white paws is young and has plenty of life to live as a tripod. He's affectionate and loves to purr away while you pet him. His condition does not require any special care, except for his need to be an indoor cat. He would also prefer a home where he is the only cat.
Christian is housetrained, neutered, and up-to-date on his routine shots.
