Sound Beach Honors Long Island Fallen Heroes

Sound Beach residents take a moment to thank local veterans for their service.

The Sound Beach Civic Association hosted a Veterans Day service at the Sound Beach Veterans Memorial Park Monday to never forget their neighbors who made the ultimate sacrifice over the years.

The memorial included the Sound Beach Fire Department Color Guard, the Star Spangled Banner sung by Miller Place students, invocation by Sound Beach Community Church Pastor John Deletto, and patriotic music by Rocky Point.

Veterans from all over including Rocky Point, Sound Beach, Miller Place, and Port Jefferson attended the ceremony.
