Took Great Photos This Weekend? Share Them

It's hard not to have a great weekend in Port Jefferson.

From the nightlife and fine cafes to quiet walks along the harbor, Port Jefferson has no shortage of things to do and great photo ops are around every quaint corner.

Our new open blog, Snapshots, hopes to be a place where you can share these great images with the people who will appreciate them best, the locals in the community who call the scenery of Port Jefferson home.

And it’s easy to share.

Visit the Snapshots blog here and click on the open text box under the heading to create a post and upload a photo.

Or, from the homepage, follow these steps:

• Sign in to your Patch. (Click “Join” if you don’t have an account yet.)
• Click the "Blogs" tab, near the top of the homepage and then locate the Snapshots – Port Jefferson blog in the left-hand column. Click on it.
• Click in the box that says, “Write a new post” and then click on “Article” at the top.
• Give your post a headline, enter the body of the story and upload your photos.
• Click “Post now.”
