Historical Photo of Library Used Book Store Building

Readers guess where this old photo was taken.

With only a slice of the building in view it may be hard to find a frame of reference in this old photo taken in Port Jefferson village. The building is still in regular use and has a deep history in the area. Can you guess what building this is a picture of? Tell us in the comments.

Update: The first one in the comments say where this photo was taken was who correctly guessed it was the with the building in the background and that the building also once served as the used book store. On Facebook, Lauren Hubbard also was the first to guess that it was the Port Jefferson Library Annex and used to be Good Times.

This photo was probably from the early 1960's. Notice the liquor store on Main St. and the former Oldsmobile business, now the Gap, beyond the parking area. How that area has changed! The library annex, formerly the Good Times Bookshop, also includes a used book section run by the volunteers of The Friends of the Port Jefferson Library.
