Blogger: Stage Helps Set the Mood During Theatre Three Musical

Spotlight shined on behind the scenes work of local set designers at Back To Bacharach and David show.

After seeing the Back To Bacharach and David show at Theatre Three over the weekend, one thing stood out from everything else in the mind of local blogger Robert Makofsky while watching the performance: the stage.

“The attention to detail was outstanding and contributed a good deal of the theme and tone of the musical,” wrote Makofsky in a recent post. “It worked so well, it seemed to stand out as an additional character in the show.”

Designed to look like what he called an “intimate Irish pub… at closing time” the stage set the mood of the night.

“The setting, designed by resident set designer Randall Parsons was a meticulous work of stage craft and design,” Makofsky said.
