The lineup for Friday, July 19 at the Stony Brook Film Festival:

In a Heartbeat (7 minutes)
At just nine years old, a girl finds the courage to stand up to bullies.

The Blitz (U.S. premiere – 104 minutes)
Set in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in 1940, two people with very different destinies fall in love as the threat of war hangs over them. Directed by Ate de Jong; screenplay by Ate de Jong and Paul Ruven (Don't Touch My Children). In Dutch and German with subtitles. Watch the trailer here.

Anamnesis (18 minutes)
A man who wakes up inside a childhood memory is led deeper into his subconscious and begins to realize the truth.

A New York Heartbeat (World premiere – 99 minutes)
Set in Brooklyn in 1959, a young gang leader trying to make a name for himself finds himself way in over his head after he steals a suitcase of cash from a dangerous mobster. Written and directed by Tjardus Greidanus. Watch the trailer here.
