The Calm After the Storm (9 minutes)
A single moment of eternity is defined as a woman's past, present and future freeze together after she learns of her boyfriend's death. In Dutch with subtitles.

These Birds Walk (East Coast Premiere – 71 minutes)
This "simultaneously heart-wrenching and life-affirming" documentary chronicles the lives of runaway boys in Pakistan over close to three years. Pakistan's most revered philanthropist heads a home for the runaways as a good Samaritan ambulance driver risks his life to reunite the boys with their families. In Pakistani (Urdu) with subtitles. Gun (18 minutes)
A pair of parents, new to the suburbs, decide to purchase a hand gun after a break-in at their home.

Inheritance (East Coast Premiere – 88 minutes)
Set amongst the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, a Palestinian family comes together at their daughter's wedding – but tensions explode when secrets are uncovered. In Hebrew, French, Arabic and English with subtitles. Watch the trailer here.

9:30 p.m.

The Apple of My Eye (14 minutes)
A man visits his grandmother, with whom he shared a special relationship, after many years – on the intuition that he'll never see her again. In Spanish with subtitles.

Everything Went Down (New York premiere – 86 minutes)
A grieving young college professor and a singer-songwriter develop a friendship set to the songs of Kate Tucker in a musical that "examines the nature of friendship, healing, and the power of art." Watch the trailer here.
