Cork Report Visits C'est Cheese

Says artisanal cheese shop may be destination point for cheese lovers on Long Island.

Aaron Estes, the cheese editor for New York Cork Report website took a trip out to Port Jefferson to visit .

Cheese has become somewhat of a trend in the food business.

"Artisanal cheese has made its way to the forefront of the local food movement." Estes wrote. "Farmstead cheesemakers elevate the milk from their farms, and the rock star cheesemonger expounds upon the history, the background, and unique qualities of that particular cheese."

He said that New York cheese shops are bringing the farm to you but asks what distinguishes one shop from another.

Estes said that C’est Cheese is "taking a unique approach that may prove to establish itself as a destination point for cheese lovers out on Long Island."
