Vine 2 Wine will be hosting a complimentary wine tasting and cheese pairing event on Sunday, July 8 from 1-4pm. We will be tasting Javier Sanz Rey Santo Rueda 2011 as well as Sean Minor Pinot Noir 2009. The Rueda is an easy drinking, citrus scented and super quaffable blend of Viura and Verdejo (50/50). The wine sports a lovely fish label proclaiming, “drink me with any kind of fish” or really with any fun in the sun occasion! The Pinot Noir is medium-bodied with cherry, strawberry, and plum surrounded by light toast flavors. This wine displays blue fruit characteristics that are balanced and spicy with earthy notes that frame mid-palate. The vanilla and toast integrate beautifully with silky tannins on a lengthy finish.
