From 1 until 4pm on Sunday, August 19, Vine 2 Wine will be hosting a complimentary wine and cheese pairing event. This tasting will feature Jean Medeville et Fils Bordeaux Blanc 2010 and Temperamento Bobal Utiel-Requena 2009. The Bordeaux Blanc has a lovely pale yellow color with a silver shimmer. The nose opens to a fresh aromatic palette and intense notes of exotic fruits. The palate is well balanced, with flavors of pear and grapefruit. The Temperamento is made from the Bobal grape variety from Southeastern Spain. The grapes are grown organically grown from 60 year old vines which are then hand-harvested. Fermenting in steel and then aging in oak, the result is an intense, bright nose showing strawberries and raspberries with a touch of spcie, with a medium body, velvety tannins, and a nice acidity.
