New Restaurant Being Constructed in Port Jeff

If you pass by the building at 154 West Broadway you'll notice some major renovation is being done. According to some construction workers on site and a call to an insurance firm already in the building called Three Village Bennet Agency, the upstairs of the building is being prepared to become a new restaurant. No word yet on the type of food or who is the owner.

According to some quick web searches it appears that the property once house an Italian restaurant named Il Miradoro described by Menufrog.com as serving "fine Italian cuisine overlooking the scenic harbor of Port Jefferson New York." They apparently served large portion, family style dishes, according to one Yelp review.

The sign outside still reads "Harbor View Shoppes" but the only occupant listed now is the insurance comapny.
