The Port Times Record reports that the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Stemboat Company is doing a $2 million upgrade the main passenger cabin of the Park City ferry. During the construction, the ferry company will operate a two-boat schedule, according to its website.
"You'll see a design flare that you haven't seen before," vice president and general manager of the ferry company, Fred Hall is quoted as saying in the story about the new interior changes.
The Park City was first launched into service back in 1986.
