Port Jeff Station Dunkin' Donuts Closed For Repairs

Sign on window says to visit location in Port Jefferson village.

The Dunkin' Donuts on Route 347 in Port Jefferson Station was due for some fixin' up aparently. The interior has been gutted and a sign on the window says that the business will be closed from April 7 for two weeks.

But if you're jonesing for a cup of Joe from Dunkin' Donuts, don't panic, you still have options. There is another Dunkin' Donuts down the road on Route 25A in Mt. Sinai that recently opened and another downtown in Port Jefferson on Main Street.

An application with the Brookhaven Town Zoning Board from March shows plans for a facade change to the current structure. A PDF of the proposed changes is attached to this article.

What do you think? Are you happy about the improvements to the Port Jefferson Station Dunkin' Donuts?

Correction: The original story said that the Dunkin' Donuts at this location was opened in 1990. That date may not be correct.

Opened in 1990? If this is the location on the corner of Jayne and 347 that location was opened in the late 70's

1990 may have been when the current owners took over. I worked there in the late 80s for a horrible couple that owned it with their 2 bratty kids that stole the tips from when they had counter service.

CV and Earl. That year was what we got from the manager or owner when we created a listing for the store and was possibly when the current owners took it over. I have deleted the year from the story and put in a correction. I apologize for the mistake and I will try to get the exact date the location was built.
