Vacant Chinese Restaurant Soon to be Filled
No. 1 Chinese restaurant, which has been vacant for a year, will be open soon with a new tenant.
The No. 1 Chinese restaurant, located on the corner of East Main St. and East Broadway has been vacant for more than a year now, but will soon have a new tenant.
Local realtor Maria Palmar said another restaurant will fill the spot but could not say who until the leases are signed.
"We have a deposit on the property. I am not at liberty to say who until the leases are signed, but it will be fast food retail," she said. Palmar clarified that it is not a fast food chain.
Palmar said the new place should be open for business within three months.
"It should be up and running by the Dickens Festival," said Palmar.
