Take A Walk Elsewhere For Comfortable Shoes (Empty in Port Jeff)

Long Island Comfort Shoes moves uptown.

About a month ago, Long Island Comfort Shoes closed on East Main Street to move up the road a bit to a shopping center on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station. That left a vacancy at the former shop that is as of this writing, still looking for a new owner.

The website for the listing agent says that the monthly rent is $2,200. Another real estate listing shows that the entire building is also for sale for a cool $1.5 million. The lot is 52 by 133 and has parking for 8 cars. Taxes will run $15,118 per year.

If it did sell, what would you like to see in this former comfortable shoe shop?
