Since last November The Amazing Olive has been serving up some of the most interesting combinations of flavors you have ever come across in olive oils. Flavors like coconut mango twist balsamic vinegar, pineapple, chocolate balsamic vinegar and even bacon flavored olive oil drizzled from the silver spigots.
Owner Ralph Munoz is more than happy to help you find your favorite flavor, giving out taste tests of the oils, almost all of them imported from Italy. Turns out, tasting all the various flavors of olive oils lined up on shelves throughout the store is as fun as testing ice cream flavors. In fact, Munoz says some of his olive oils–including a blackberry-flavored version–work well as ice cream toppings.
Besides olive oils, the store is selling, dry rubs and olive oil soap.
Even local restaurants have gotten into the flavored olive oils. Munoz said that Pasta Pasta next door used the coconut mango twist balsamic vinegar in a recipe.
