Seal School Long Island Self-Rescue Swim Lessons

Babies 6 to 12 months of age learn to hold their breath underwater, turn onto their backs, and float unassisted. Children 1 to 6 years old are taught to expand this into a swim-float swim sequence- learning how to hold their breath underwater, swim with their heads down, roll onto their backs to float, rest, breathe, and roll back over to continue swimming until they reach the side of the pool, can crawl out of the water or be rescued by an adult. Your child will also learn how to master ISR Self-Rescue™ skills, first in a bathing suit, then fully clothed, because most water accidents happen when children are in clothes.
