Community Update

It's amazing that this bakery is in business. The customer service was worse than poor. The owner was downright rude and discourteous. An exact quote of his was "I don't owe any customer anything." Short version of my experience: My daughter wanted a photo on the face of an ice cream cake for her HS graduation party. We ordered the 12" ice cream cake for $75 2 weeks before the event and were told to send the image via email. A hi-res image was sent along with the message to contact me if there were any issues. A week later we stopped in to check on the cake and were told they had a problem with the image and they showed us a print, which was terrible. Streaks were present as if the printer was out of ink. We were told they needed an actual photo to work with not the emailed photo. We had a hi quality 8x10 created and dropped of the next day. "Much better, this is what we need" we were told. The afternoon of the party my mother goes to pick up the cake and it's not ready. "There is a problem with our printer" she is told. We were waiting for you to come in to tell you. The best we can do is the original print we made" Now my mother is not sure what to do and she's missing her grand daughter graduation party. She takes the cake with the poor quality image. The next day we call the owner to express our dissatisfaction and question why we were never contacted so other arrangements could be made at a different bakery and to request reimbursement for the extra cost to have the photo added to the cake. Then we received the owners final words on the matter "I don't owe any customer anything."
