Ron Pampero - "El Caballito Frenao"

Richard Mora, owner of Mora's Fine Wine & Spirits in Setauket, describes a 50-year-old batch of Venezuela's national rum brand, Pompeo. The 1963 edition was produced for their 25th anniversary, and Mora describes it as follows: "the epitome of sipping rum, it has a rich mahogany color with aromas of carmel, baking spices, dried fruit and oak."
