Why go: There will be no cover from 9 - 11 p.m. So head on over to Port Jazz for entertainment and spirits featuring live music and top DJs. All at Port Jazz, where you can dance to disco music.

Why go: Paul Anthony, host and executive producer of the Comedy Festival invites Long Islanders out to enjoy an evening that's a lot of laughs. Schedule of Comedians:On July 1, Mike Fine, Chris Roach, Sandy Marks and Richie Byrne will perform. July 2, Chris Davis, Joey G., Leighann Lord, Jim Mendrinos and Rob Falcone will be on stage. If you don't laugh there's still no refund.

Why go: Exhibit will feature more than 70 enlarged photos capturing the history of early Port Jefferson Station and Terryville. And ask the historian why Cumsewogue is spelled with a "u" instead of an "o."

Why go: For this weekend's hands-on Super Science Focus, children of all ages will be surprised to discover how different objects sink or float. All other permanent experiments, games and exhibits will also be open. No need for a life jacket.

What: Enjoy shopping for local produce and listen to music as you browse local products from local farms and vendors including Condzella Farms, Stan Pat Farms, Biophilia Organic Farms, Bambino Ravioli, Berry Happy Farms and Invincible Summer Farms. Quickly growing into a Port Jeff tradition.
