Why Go: Watch over 100 people get their head shaved in solidarity with children who suffer from the effects of treatment for cancer and help them raise tens of thousands of dollars to help find a cure that will conquer childhood cancer once and for all. There will be live music provided by Long Island's own Celtic Rock band King Keltic.

Why Go: World premieres of six original one act plays in a single evening. Cutting edge theatre.

Why Go: Eat, drink and enjoy live R & B, Reggae, Calypso, Soca and Top 40’s dance music by Denice Given, Therapy, Next Level, Copy Cat and Tribal Legacy.

Why Go: MOMIX'S most spectacular dance creation, Botanica, follows the rhythms of the seasons, the evolution of the world, and the passing of a day, performed by an outstanding company that defies categorization as easily as its dancers defy gravity.

Where/When: , 300 Terryville Rd, Port Jefferson Station, Saturday, March 12, 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Why Go: Homegrown Music Café is a monthly concert series featuring Long Island and Regional singer songwriters and bands. It is considered one of the finest, intimate venues in Suffolk County. All net proceeds go to the St. Gerard Majella parish outreach program, which feeds and clothes hundreds of Long Islanders.
