Graffiti: Problem Around Port Jeff or Not?

Business owner discovered new graffiti over the weekend.

When Dentist Carl Palmblad went to his office at on North Country Road in Port Jefferson over the weekend he discovered a new piece of unwanted artwork adorning the back wall of his parking lot. Vandals had put up a black spray painted graffiti of a character head, a heart and what looks like the words “DELOVE” at some point on Friday night.

The white brick wall is actually the back of and faces the entrance to his lot on Walnut Street. Palmblad contacted the owner of the building and he agreed to have it painted over.

He admitted that this is the first time the lot had been hit with graffiti and hasn’t reported the incident to police.
