Port Jefferson hosted its sixth annual American Music Festival this weekend, braving a rainy forecast that saw balmy summer-like weather in its place. Tie-dye shirts were out in force as people drifted from musical acts to shops to the carnival rides near the ferry. This year the festival was used to raise funds for the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, which now calls downtown Port Jefferson home.
