Port Jefferson Station Profiled in the New York Times

Locals quoted in paper and highlights of living in Port Jefferson Station given.

A write up in the "Living In" Real Estate section of the New York Times gives a summary of the area centered on the Comsewogue School District, including Port Jefferson Station and Terryville.

Quoting members of the Port Jefferson-Terryville Civic Association and the Cumsewogue Historical Society, the paper makes a case for the area as a place that "has a small-town feel, with small-town values," as Jack Smith, a retired special education teacher and president of the Cumsewogue Historical Society is quoted as saying.

"It’s a good place to live, from one end of town to the other,” Edward Garboski, president of the Civic, told the Times.

The paper highlights house prices, demographics, things to do and Comsewogue School District.

This is awesome. I'll be sure to show it to prospective buyers when I finally list my place and move out of town.
