REPORT: Traffic Lights Out, Flooding, Downed Power Lines and Trees

Storm reports coming in from readers and reporters.

Traffic lights are out and power lines are down near Port Jefferson according to reports coming in from people around the area.

"It's getting rough," said Barbara Donlon, a Port Jefferson Station resident and contributor to Patch. "Port is flooding really badly."

Donlon said that she saw power lines down after Sheep Pasture Road heading to Main Street. She said that the road is blocked off.

She also snapped pictures earlier in the day of a large tree down on the street on Junard Boulevard in Port Jefferson Station.

In Port Jefferson Station residents reported hearing a loud thump followed by the trees rushing down.
