Weekend Yard Sale Round-Up

It's time to brush the dust off some other people's old stuff and hit some local yard sales. Here are a few going on in the area.

• Day/time: Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Details: Bow flex and Ikea dresser available, although in house. also old Barbies, clothes - good brands - moving so offer a price.

233 N Country Rd, Mount Sinai

• Day/time: Saturday, 9 a.m.
• Details: Join the church for a different type of sale - every Saturday starting at 9 a.m. they open the doors of our red barn to everyone. New items being donated every week and all the proceeds from the sale go to support the church and its missions.

• Day/time: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Details:  15' Aluminum canoe with paddles, brass headboard and footboard, antique furniture; oak diningroom table/chairs, bench, gas lawnmower, gas snowblower, Webber barbeque, glassware, household, artwork, garden tools and much more.

10 Lenore Court, Port Jefferson Station

• Day/time: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Details: Housedhold items, linens and things, clothing for men and women, DVD's and CD's, yard equipment, Christmas Tree and decorations, furniture and pictures.

8 Tammy Drive, Mount Sinai

• Day/time: Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Details: Fish tanks, antiques, legos, toys and home furnishings, mustang mufflers (08 and 10), and 2010 mustang front and rear diffusers.

5 Homestead Avenue, Port Jefferson

• Day/time: Saturday, 9 a.m.
• Details: Lots for everyone. Home gym, treadmill, games, toys and more.

Yale Street and Rhetta Lane, Port Jefferson Station

• Day/time: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Details: Multi-famly garage sale.
