“Santa Paws” Is Coming to Castaways
Have Your Family Picture Taken With St. Nick
(Port Jefferson Station, NY) — Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. has announced that “Santa Paws” is coming down to Castaways, Save-A-Pet's retail store.
Pet owners and their families can bring their pets to Castaways on December 8-9 to have their picture taken with Santa. A professional photographer will be on hand to take the family portraits. You may have your picture taken with your pet and/or children. You will receive a 5x7-inch print the same day.
Pictures will be taken from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. All dogs should be placed on a leash and cats should be in a carrier.
Donations are $10, with proceeds going to benefit Save-A-Pet and its animal rescue and adoption and spay-and-neuter programs. Additional prints are available.

Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue Inc. was established in 1994 and is located in Port Jefferson Station. Save-A-Pet works with The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter, to place homeless animals into new homes with loving families. All of the animals that come to Save-A-Pet are spayed, neutered, tested for diseases and vaccinated.
