Recently enacted Suffolk County Law requires all boaters operating a pleasure vessel in Suffolk County Waterways to complete an approved boating safety course and possess and display their safety course certificate while boating.
This course covers the basics of recreational boating. Topics include Boat education, Boating Safety, Boating Law and Regulation. Individuals who successfully complete the course and exam are awarded a NYS certificate. All are welcome.
